When is the Next Partner Event?
While Scopely, the developers of Monopoly Go, typically keeps the exact launch dates under wraps until closer to the event, Partner Events are generally hosted on a monthly basis.
The most recent Partner Event, Aqua Partners, concluded on July 13, 2025. Given this pattern, it is highly anticipated that the next Partner Event will take place sometime in August 2025. Players should keep an eye on in-game announcements for official confirmation.
How Partner Events Work
Partner Events are unique collaborative experiences where you team up with up to four other players (friends or random matches) to achieve shared goals. Here’s a quick overview of the mechanics:
- Form Partnerships: Four blank profile icons appear at the center of your board. You select a slot to invite a friend or a random player to be your partner. Once a partnership is formed, it cannot be changed for that event.
- Collect Event Tokens: As you play the game, you’ll collect special themed tokens specific to the current Partner Event (e.g., seashells for Aqua Partners, puzzle pieces for other events). These tokens are crucial for progression.
- Spin the Partner Wheel: Use your collected tokens to spin a special “Partner Wheel.” The wheel awards points that contribute to building shared landmarks on your board.
- Build Landmarks: Each partnership works together to build four unique landmarks. Each landmark has multiple stages, and completing a stage unlocks milestone rewards.
- Grand Prizes: Once all milestones for all four partnerships are completed, you’ll receive a grand prize, which often includes a significant amount of dice rolls, a Wild Sticker, and an exclusive game token.
These events emphasize teamwork and strategic token management to maximize rewards.
